Primary Duties and Responsibilities
o Management and supervision of facility fleet vehicles. o Ensure all fleet vehicles are safe and reliable to drive. o Address manufacturer recalls timely. o Ensure that the Agency's budgetary goals and needs are properly met. o Monitor all vehicle repairs and costs. Follow maintenance schedules as referenced by manufacturers. o Facilitate necessary repairs due to motor vehicle accidents. o Schedule inspections and preventive maintenance for fleet vehicles. o Contact vendors when emergency services such as towing are needed. o Coordinate delivery of new vehicles and pick up of current vehicles parked at repair shops. o Ensure vehicles are available when staff need to transport individuals. o Coordinate used vehicle auctions with OGS.

Salary Range:
From $43466 to $52923 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Contingent Permanent/Provisional Posted Hiring Salary includes the sum of statutory hiring rate for ($41,953) and Mid-Hudson Adjustment ($1,513). The Mid-Hudson Adjustment ($1,513) is also added to job rate ($51,410) Permanent
Qualifications:
candidates must currently be a permanent Transportation Supervisor 1, Grade 11. Promotion
Qualifications:
candidates must be a qualified employee of New York State and have had one year of permanent competitive, non-competitive, or 55-b/55-c service as a Motor Vehicle Operator or Bus Driver. Open Competitive:
candidates must possess a high school diploma, or a high school equivalency diploma issued by an appropriate educational authority. Candidates must possess a New York State driver license appropriate for the type of vehicle to be operated. In addition, candidates must meet one of the requirements listed below. 1. one year of experience in the management or supervision of fleet operations or daily dispatching of motor vehicles from a pool of at least 30 vehicles; or 2. two years of experience overseeing the maintenance of motor vehicles and keeping records and reports of that maintenance from a pool of at least 30 vehicles. Substitution:
two additional years of the experience described in #1 or four additional years of the experience described in #2 may be substituted for the required high school diploma.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
